CNC Machining Technician
Local metal fabrication facility for the construction industry serving the Midwestern U.S. is seeking a candidate with a strong background in CNC programming and machining. Our focus is on the components comprising the building envelope, or exterior 'skin'. The building envelope includes glass, doors, windows, curtain walls, storefronts, skylights, sunshades, metal panels, sheet metal & siding, expansion joints and sealants along with other specialty items.
Experience with aluminum machining via computer-controlled equipment desired. Position will require lifting (75# maximum); machine programming; testing and trouble shooting; maintenance, material and quality control; and production schedule maintenance. As part of a quality team environment, candidate will be cross-trained with machinery above (computer-controlled, double-headed compound miter saw center) and below (pneumatic punch and die center) the workstation. Specific training on aluminum systems and equipment will be provided.
Full-time and part-time positions with wage negotiable, depending on experience
